The colours are obtained
from metallic oxides fired to a high temperature
and are extremely durable. The colours are permanent
and will not fade due to exposure to sun, rain etc. |

Can these tiles be used in
external areas? |

Yes. They are similar to
other factory made ceramic tiles and can be used
exposed to the elements either on walls, floors,
furniture etc. |

How does one fix these tiles
on floors and furniture items? |

They can be cemented on
floors and walls as one does with normal commercial
tiles. For use on wooden or iron items they can
be fixed using any good adhesive such as 'Araldite'. |

Can ADIPA Tiles be used with
other commercial tiles? |
|
|
Yes they can and very effectively
too. Basically they are meant to enhance the effect
obtained from using other commercial tiles. |

Why do the tiles have variations
in colour, texture and size? |
|

These are totally handmade
tiles, fired in a conventional potters kiln. Hence
there will always be slight variations. In fact
this is what makes them unique and beautiful. |

Can you make tiles of a specific
design provided by us? |

Yes we do undertake custom
designed tiles provided the order is more than 500
pieces and a maximum size of 4" by 4. |

Is it possible to create and
design a mural to our specifications? |

Yes, we do undertake murals
as per customer requirements with regard to theme
and concept that they would like to have. However,
the size should be a minimum of 10 sq. ft. |

Can you provide assistance
in designing and using your tiles on walls, bathrooms,
furniture etc? |

This is possible and has
been done by us regularly. We would need to be provided
colour photographs and sizes etc. of the area required
to be clad. |

Can the nameboards be fixed
outdoors in the open? |

If the namboard is exposed
to rain the wooden frame can be affected over time.
In such cases it is advisable to either cement the
tiles directly on to the wall or use a metallic
base plate for the tiles. The tiles themselves will
not suffer any damage from the elements.. |

What does one do if the sizes
shown here are not adequate for the name? |

In case larger sizes of
boards are required they can be specially made on
order. All one has to do is give us the basic information
regarding the number of letters and tiles required
to be used. |

How can I send a nameboard
to someone else staying at a different location? |
|
|
All one has to do is to
design the nameboard and send us the DD and we will
dispatch it to the address provided by you. |
